You’ll adore the top-down seamless knitting in this romantic little cardigan. It’s a very easy knit but has just enough details—short sleeves, A-line shaping, and little lace pockets—to keep it interesting. A couple of buttons hold it closed at the neck, and the fronts hang open, perfect for wearing over a dress.

Skills Needed
Knit/purl, working in the round, picking up and knitting, stitching (for pockets)

Construction Notes
The body is worked in one piece from the neck down to the underarms. The rest of the body is worked to the bottom edge with shaping at the sides. The sleeves are knit in the round from the underarms. The pockets and button loops are worked separately and sewn to the fronts.
