Sweet little boots worked entirely seamless, in the round and from the bottom up.

They start with Judy’s Magic Cast On but could be worked with long tail cast on, joined and seamed later. Pattern was written for Magic Loop but includes instructions for adapting to dpn’s. The top of the foot is created with slipped stitches and decreases, no wrap and turns.

Pattern was developed because I fell in love with the little Garter Ear Flap Hat by Purl Bee (shown in second photo)

and wanted booties to match as a gift. I wanted them seamless, knit from the sole up and in the round. I couldn’t find a pattern that appealed to me. The larger size is compatible with the baby size hat from Purl Bee. They are so easy to make and you can finish them in an evening for a last minute shower gift. Uses a small amount of yarn; excellent for a stash busting project. The hat pattern is free from Purl Bee.

Pattern was test knitted by eight knitters.
