Needles

  • RIBBING: Size US 2 (2.75mm) circulars, 16” / 40 cm for neckband and 24” /60 cm or longer for hem and cuffs if using magic loop; DPN’s if not using magic loop for cuffs
  • MAIN BODY: Size US 4 (3.5mm) circulars, 16” /40 cm for upper yoke and 24” /60 cm or longer for remaining plain stockinette
  • COLORWORK: Size US 4 (3.75mm) circulars, 16” /40 cm for upper yoke and 24” /60 cm or longer for remaining plain stockinette

Tools

  • 2 stitch markers including 1 unique BOR (beginning of round) marker
  • scrap yarn or stitch holder for sleeve stitches
  • darning needle
  • scissors
  • tiny crochet hook for attaching beads (see Notes section for video on how to work with beads!)
  • Beads! I am using Czech glass beads that come in a tube at Joann Fabrics.

Gauge
27 sts, 36 rounds= 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch using MAIN BODY needle and blocked.
27 sts, 32 rounds= 4” / 10 cm in colorwork knit in the round using COLORWORK needle and blocked.
28 sts, 40 rounds= 4” / 10 cm in Twisted Rib using RIBBING needle and slightly stretched.
