The Seashell Shawl encompasses grace and a unique edge that is perfect for elegant soirees or special events. This is a crescent shawl that is shaped through short rows, worked bottom up, starting with the scalloped border that looks like shells on the sea shore, finished with a garter stitch body. This shawl makes for a great introduction to knitting shawls and short row shaping!

Instructions are included if you want to thicken the shawl. Gauge isn’t that important to this shawl, but lengths and widths can differ. It is important to note that over-night blocking is an extremely important part of this process in order to achieve the pointy edges.
