The pattern is created in multiples of 12, so you can size it to fit whatever you are making (scarf, blanket, baby blanket, etc.).

Original creator suggests medium weight yarn and 5.5mm hook. I used worsted wool yarn and a 5mm hook and it still looked pretty good.

Works up quickly

44m of worsted yarn with a 5mm hook makes about 3 rows. Each line of color needs 2 rows.
