This stole just sings out summer at the seaside to me! The lace pattern on the ends is based on a Barbara Walker stitch pattern and represents parasols on the beach and the main body of the stole is worked in an open lace called Mermaids Mesh. Ah! I can hear the seagulls singing

Colour of yarn used: Summer

You can substitute any lace weight yarn of the same thickness and yardage - you will need approx 1000yds.

If you are worried about running out of yarn knit the two ends first and then knit the mesh pattern until you run out of yarn.
