Comfortable, casual and hip, Seattle is a simple, lightweight knit designed to showcase your favorite fingering weight yarns. This beanie was requested by my little brother who was diagnosed with bone cancer at age 18. Due to the necessary chemotherapy treatments, he subsequently lost all his hair and wanted a “cool hipster chemo hat” to keep his head warm. The name for this pattern is inspired by and dedicated to Seattle Children’s Hospital and all the important work and research they do for children and teens. Because of their dedication to my brother’s care and treatment, he has won his year-long battle with cancer!
