These elbow-length gauntlets show off elegant cables with peek-a-boo eyelets. Worked in a sport weight yarn, Seaview is an ideal pattern for when there’s a little chill in the air.

Materials: Indigodragonfly Shark Sport; 100% Fine Organic Merino (3-ply); 328 yards (300 m)/100 g; Small/Medium shown in “One If By Lamb” (teal); Large shown in “Two If By Sheep” (periwinkle).

Stitch markers; scrap yarn or stitch holder; darning needle

Needles: US 4/3.5 mm needles, or whatever size you need to achieve gauge: double-pointed needles (DPNs), flexible DPNs, 1 long circular for working magic loop, 2 circulars, or short circular according to your preference for working in the round

Gauge: 22.5 stitches and 36 rounds per 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette stitch

Size: Small/Medium (Large) to fit a hand circumference of approximately 7-7.75 inches 17.75-19 cmnches 20.25-21.5 cm). Note: hand circumference should be measured around the palm, not including the thumb
