I created this pattern from a combination of cable designs. The middle cable is called the Vine and Twist from the Harmony Guides 450 Knitting Stitches Vol. 2. The two outer cables are regular 6 stitch cables. I also added a 1 inch moss stitch border to help keep the scarf from curling and it just looks nice.
