I love the visual sophistication and complexity of this design. Being a mix of both lace and cables, it might be considered a little more challenging to knit, but there’s nothing inherently difficult in what you
need to do. Because lace patterning on the heel flap and toes can wear through very quickly, I’ve created riffs on the cabled areas of the pattern. I rather like the secret of a patterned heel and toe that’s hidden from everyone but you. Notes are included for substituting a plain toe.

Pattern is written so that it can be worked on DPNs, magic loop or 2 circulars, as you prefer. Foot and leg length are adjustable to fit.
