Sedna's Shawl
Knit shawl in three colours with crochet edging
For those summernights at the beach.
In Inuit mythology, Sedna is the mother-goddess of the sea.
and mistress of the sea-mammals.
She does not ever want to marry a mortal man.
Most often, she is described as half woman, half fish,
but sometimes she can be spotted in the shape
of a white seal.
Needed for this pattern:
Cotton Eco – Schachenmayr nomotta, 100% organic cotton
colour A: light green 070 and colour B: light blue 052= 1 ball of 50 gr/130 m (1.76 ounces / 142 yards) each,
colour C: greige 071: 2 balls of 50 gr/ 130 m (1.76 ounces / 142 yards)
One size,
Total length (center) after drying flat: ca 68 cm (26.8 in)
total width: ca 150 cm (59.1 in)
