Indulge in the mesmerizing art of top-down brioche knitting with the Seed of the Setting Sun shawl. A true masterpiece that captures the essence of a breathtaking sunset, this hand-knit shawl is a labor of love, meticulously designed to combine the timeless elegance of brioche stitch with a captivating color progression. With each stitch, you’ll be enchanted by the warmth and serenity of a setting sun enveloping you.

For my sample, I’ve chosen a self-striping shawl yarn, allowing the gradual transformation of the sky in Sections 1-3 to unfold gracefully. However, if a self-striping yarn isn’t at your fingertips, fear not, dear knitter! You can conjure the same mesmerizing effect using leftover yarn or mini skeins, expertly joined together with the magical Russian Join to create your captivating striping illusion.

Worked flat and meticulously detailed in both written directions and enchanting charts, this shawl pattern is a treasure trove of knitting enchantment. And to ensure you never lose your way amidst the rows and stitches, a helpful progress tracker is included, guiding you on your journey.
