I love a piping hot cup of coffee or tea in the morning. I also like squishy yarn to protect my wood surfaces from said cups, so I perused Ravelry and Pinterest looking for a good mug rug pattern.

I found a few, but nothing I really loved so I took matters into my own hands.

Behold the Seed Stitch Mug Mat! Gorgeous bulky wool blend, the perfect size, the perfect loft, the perfect quick knit. At least it’s perfect for me. ;-)

I used the Oatmeal and Obsidian colorways for my mats.
