Seed stitch is a beautiful way to add some texture to a garment, and it’s great as a beginner’s first pattern since all it uses is knit and purl stitches. This pattern is for two versions of a seed stitch scarf - either a basic one or a seamless infinity version that uses some more advanced techniques.

The suggested yarn is from We Are Knitters, and uses exactly two balls. If you wish to substitute the yarn it’s very straightforward, any bulky weight wool yarn that knits up to the correct tension will work.

This scarf has a matching beanie - The Slouchy Mushroom Beanie.
