Seedhead is a slightly slouchy hat, inspired by the seed and flower head patterns featured in mid-20th century pottery, especially Hornsea’s Bronte and Heirloom patterns.

The pottery’s circular and radiating motifs are echoed in the strong lines of the lace pattern which flows beautifully from the ribbing. The lines are complemented by the carefully placed yarn-overs and bobbles, and by the beautiful crown patterning.

Seedhead is the perfect hat for autumn or spring, with an attractive balance between the lacy yarnovers and the textured fabric to provide warmth without being too heavy or bulky.
