You will be knitting a flower garden. In the beginning you work a bit of stockinette adorned with a decorative border. And then the magic starts. You plant some beads for seeds, and as you knit they sprout into stems, then leaves of Japanese lace start growing. Then Estonian lace buds appear to open into fully blossoming flowers sprinkled with beads like dew drops.

The shawl is a slightly asymmetric triangle of a simple but somewhat unusual construction. Instructions are provided to work the shawl in two sizes (S and L) in either fingering or DK yarn weights, for a total of four sizes. Instructions for making custom size are also included.

For information about sizes, measurements and yarn requirements please check the second page of the pattern located among the photos on the left.

Seeds to Flowers is the seventh pattern from the Inner Gardens e-book.

If you would like to join for some support and fun in a KAL, there is one started at January 1, 2015.
