Originally, I was envisioning a banner made up of these stars for the 4th of July, but I didn’t get around to making it in time for holiday decorating, so I decided to just have coasters instead. I have really been toying with the idea of a patriotic themed home lately, so these could be perfect for that too!

Materials:

• Small Amount of Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn - I used Lily Sugar n Cream in White, Red and Dazzling Blue
• H8/5mm Crochet Hook
• Tapestry Needle for Weaving in Ends
• Optional, Jewelry Pliers

Material Notes:
Yarn Alternative: WeCrochet Dishie

Jewelry pliers are an excellent tool to use to help weave in ends, as cotton yarn can be quite tough on the fingers when weaving in with just fingers and a tapestry needle.

About 10 minutes per star

Total from one point across to another: 4”
