Adjustable fit for any size waist. This belt can be worked to fit any size waist, by working as many segments as required. Segments may be added or removed from the belt easily during times of weight change.

This belt can also be made using up scraps of many different colours from your stash.

Project category: Easy

Materials required: 1 x 50g ball No 10 or No 12 crochet cotton (approx 300 yards/285 metres.) If worked in two colours then 1 x 50g ball of main colour and ½ x ball contrast colour is required. (If using up scrap threads then approximately 6 to 7 yards/ 5.5 to 6.5 metres is required to make each segment of the belt.) Size 1.5 mm crochet hook.

NOTE: You do not have to use thread, any yarn and hook size can be used, but be aware that the finished segments may be a different size, use more yarn and your belt may be wider or narrower than that shown in the pattern.

Finished size: Each segment measures 5-inches/12.5 cm by 1½-inches/4 cm when flat. Each segment measures 2-inches/5 cm when inserted into belt

Gauge: 10 tr = 1-inch/2.5 cm and 4 rows of tr = 1-inch/2.5 cm

Pattern is both written and charted with photos to show the assembly of the segments to make a belt.
