Growing up in Southern California, I’ve lived through my share of earthquakes. The stripe pattern of this hat is very reminiscent of the seismograph shown on the news moments after we feel a sudden jolt or the earth rolling under us. While the unpredictability of earthquakes can be scary, there is nothing scary about knitting up this hat.
If you like the look of stripes, but want to add a little flare to them, then this is the hat for you.
