Seismicity is a puzzle of a cowl with the ability to use color blocking and a graphic PUNCH to shake up your wardrobe! The cowl is knit flat and joined together with a clever twist that makes your POP color stand out and makes the whole thing seamless! You can easily knit more or less sections and completely customize the length to your color blocking needs!


Size: One Size; Pattern is easily customizable to fit the wants/needs of the knitter. Sample as written has a top diameter of 17 in/43 cm and a lower diameter of 26 in/66 cm. It has a width of 8.5 in/22 cm.

Recommended yarn: Fingering weight yarns; 5 colors of mini skeins in solids/tonal/semi-solid/lightly variegated color ways. Sample used madelinetosh Unicorn Tails (52 yds / 47 m) in the color ways Neon Peach (A), Onyx (B), Fog (C), Charcoal (D), and Silver Fox (E)

Yardage: Color A: 130 yds / 119 m; Colors B and C: 104 yds / 94 m; Colors D and E: 52 yds / 47 m.

Needles: One 24”-32” US size 5/3.75 mm circular needle or whatever needle size gives you the drape/gauge you desire.

Gauge: 6 sts to the inch in garter stitch on US size 5/3.75 mm needles.

Notions: Waste yarn, Spare needle, tapestry needle.
