Knitted from the lowest center point out, Selanna features leafy lace and lovely bobble details along a center panel, framed with simple garter stitch edges. Worked in soft and squishy DK weight, it knits up quickly. The long sides make it easy to wear, and it’s the perfect accessory to pair with jeans for a casual look, or a dress for a night out.

Yarn: Wildstar Fibers Luminous DK (85% superwash merino, 15% nylon, 246 yards/100 g), or other DK weight yarn. Sample used approximately 460 yards (2 skeins in the color Chai)

Needle: US size 8 (5.00 mm) or size needed to achieve gauge. I began the shawl on a 24” circular needle and then moved to a 32” as the stitches increased.

Gauge: 16 sts/22 rows over 4” in garter stitch, after blocking. While gauge is not critical for this project, you could run out of yarn if your gauge is larger than what is listed.

Dimensions: 66” long and 23” deep after blocking

Notions: 3.25 or 3.5mm crochet hook for bobbles, tapestry needle for weaving in ends, stitch markers, blocking supplies
