This pattern is for a single pair of mittens and one double lovers mitten. The set is designed for a couple who wish to hold hands inside the lovers mitten while each partner also wears one of the single mittens on their other hand.

The pattern is based on the traditional Norwegian Selbu pattern and further embellished with hearts, both as part of the stranded knit work and also embroidered with a chain stitch.

The pattern is unisex so that both partners can wear each of the single mittens.

The full set requires 100 g of natural colored yarn, 150 g of the charcoal gray yarn, and 50 g of red. If only the double mitten is knitted, it requires 50 g of each color.
