DESCRIPTION
This pattern was inspired by stones lining the streets of Siena, Italy and the gorgeous staggered pattern they create. Living in Siena, I walked the streets daily, and every time I would admire the stones and was just in awe of the work that went into creating the maze of streets. The selciato or stones of Siena’s streets are large and have a wonderful stacked, diagonal pattern that I tried to recreate in the stitches of this cowl.

This pattern has one size available but has instructions on how to easily modify the pattern to make whatever size you like.

SKILLS
This includes a beginner level knitting pattern. The cowl is knit in the round from the bottom up. The techniques involved are knit and purl. All Frosia Knits patterns are written in standard US terms.
