This shawl is part of my episode pieces for the new season of Outlander and this is for episode 3.

The design is created using one skein of aran weight yarn and two contrasting colours of DK weight.

I have used some beautiful yarn gifted to me and created the pattern to use any meterage for the three skeins, there are no stitch counts you are working for the first 2 skeins to the end of the meterage and the last skein used approx. two thirds of its length, so its easily adaptable to what you may have in your stash or you have been longing to buy for a while. To get close to the size I have created I would choose DK yarn with a minimum of 220m and worsted/aran with a minimum of 210m
