These cosy slipper socks are knitted in “lopi” yarn, the traditional Icelandic knitting wool which is chunky yet light. Here, three warm shades of Istex Alafoss Lopi are used in a stripe pattern which is complemented by a honeycomb texture on the leg, created using a slip stitch pattern. Using a chunky-weight wool on 5.5mm needles means these socks should knit up very quickly!
