July 2018
Light Fingering ?
23 stitches and 33 rows = 4 inches
in stockinette (knit flat; unblocked)
US 4 - 3.5 mm
800 - 1525 yards (732 - 1394 m)
14(17, 21) inches wide and 70(76, 82) inches in length (stretched and blocked)

This handsome rectangle in several sizes is complex in appearance, but relatively easy to work, delivering stunning results for the effort involved. Its heavily embossed areas are offset beautifully by lighter openwork stitches that provide contrast in weight and density. A few nupps and twist stitches add dimension with lacy openings to highlight the variety of textures, making this pattern a good candidate for silky yarns with a bit of sheen. Beads may be substituted for nupps if desired.

Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in a variation in size, drape, or yardage requirement.

Yardage Requirement: 800 (1150, 1525) yards

Sample is shown in the petite stole size, knit in Bare Naked Wools Deco Lace, color Chrome.

Pattern will remain exclusive to Lace3 2018 subscription members for 6 months; it will be released for general purchase on 1/17/19.
