Diamonds and curves, nupps and picots, and double yarn-overs to boot. This top down crescent shaped shawl has lace stitches on right side rows only, so WS rows are a purling breeze. Picots finish the edge, but an alternative stretchy cast off is included in the pattern in case you’re not into picots … yet.
This shawl can be completed with a 700 metre skein of your favourite lace-weight yarn, and if you don’t have a favourite I definitely recommend Woolen Rabbit Chantilly Lace in Figgy Pudding. Now you just have to decide what to have with it - custard or cream … or both!
Pattern includes full instructions, including instructions on how to work the lace charts.
