“I used to think that music was like lace upon a garment, nice to have but not necessary. I have come to believe that music is absolutely essential to our community life.” - George Eastman
must I complete the thought…lace is absolutely essential!

A colour changing bias shawl introducing Wolle’s NEW 150 g skein!

These are a wonderful shape, as you can stop or keep going for as long as you want! This shawl has an overall lace pattern that looks great in any yarn and can be stopped at many points along your way.

This is a pattern for a shawl worked from one end to the edge of the other, on the bias. There are 2 versions of this shawl (both have the same lace progression)-
SHAWL A - This is a long more scarf-like and very asymmetrical shawl. It is a good shawl for wrapping, giving a nice textured neck wrap with a wide bottom edge and thin top edge.
SHAWL B - This shawl is more like a traditional bias triangle and nearly crescent shaped.

It features a lace motif beginning at the tip and growing and changing as the shawl grows, along with beads (approx. 650, sized 6/0), if you like! This shawl includes double yos, yos, and mesh.
