The September Cardigan is a celebration of autumn - of golden leaves, forest walks, chestnuts and apple pies - and also a nostalgic looking back on the beautiful structured garments from grandmother’s days.

This cardigan has a long and narrow fit with extra long sleeves and body so it can be used for a long time. The structured pattern gives a nice fit and will grow with the child.

The cardigan is knit from the bottom up. The pattern is constructed so that it can easily be transferred to thicker or thinner yarns and needles if you want a smaller or bigger garment than is included in the pattern instructions.
