A swirl of pastel watercolors on a background of a white paper towel where my daughter blotted her paint brush. That is what this yarn reminds me of, obtained locally from Bear Mountain Crafting, Chugiak, Alaska. I set out to make a wrap worthy of the color. Happily knitting along, I realized that the lace pattern I had first charted, was not what I was knitting……so, chart update, voile! Serendipity had intervened to create something new. The pattern fit the yarn perfectly, a random kaleidoscope of color to go along with sculpted, slanted, “Serendipity” lace. Life is after all, unexpected sometimes?
