Like leaves floating in the ripples on a pool of water, the Serenity Afghan features individual motifs that blossom using simple stitches from a circle into a triangle with a striking star center formed by extra-long single crochet stitches. They are sewn together back to back and point to point, creating two shapes out of one. The soothing three tone color palette, triangle and diamond motifs, and shaped sides make it special, but the motifs are easy to do and are a great tote-along project.
