One day I was waiting at the Cape Cod Conservatory for one of my nieces and I had a bag of Mountains colors yarn with me that I had just gotten. I wanted to see what it looked like in a simple lace pattern so I cast on and just started knitting. What I ended up with was a zig zag lace pattern and a design was born. I found this pattern to be very relaxing so as I sat and knit I decided to call it Serenity in Life. I knit it up in 2 different types of yarn to show how a plain yarn looks and also what a speckled yarn looks like. I hope you like it.
