This symmetrical triangular shawl is a year-round wardrobe staple. Worked from the point up, it can be made any size to accommodate preference and yardage. The ridges of texture are created by combining garter stitch, stockinette, and reverse stockinette stitches. The simple construction and easily-memorized pattern are perfect for beginners, while the shifting textures keep it interesting enough for experienced knitters. This pattern contains both written and charted instructions. A terrific on-the-go project!

Finished Measurments: 69”x19”

Seven Seas of Rhye is a song by Queen that seemed perfect for this pattern. I designed this while I was on vacation and knit in the color-way Tidpepool; I couldn’t help but think of the refrain from the song, “Oh, I do like to be beside the seaside.” The pattern will have you counting to seven quite a bit.
