Folklore predicts that out of a certain number of waves, one will be much larger than the rest ~ “every seventh wave” is one common belief that has entered popular culture through music and literature. This hat begins with a wavy rib reminiscent of seaweed being pushed below an undercurrent of small waves, and 6 larger waves breaking the surface above. The pattern includes instructions for 2 sizes and a colorful chart. You will need 1 skein of each color for smaller hat, the larger hat will require a 2nd skein of main color.
