Lightweight lace top with graded colour blocks from Stitchcraft, May 1965.

For 34-35 / 36-37 / 38-39 inch bust using Patons Beehive Fingering 4-ply, uses 3/3/3 ozs Powder Blue 4380, 2/2/3 ozs. Beau Blue 189 and 3/3/4 ozs. Snow White 504. Additional materials: 1 pair each No. 10 (3.25) and No. 11 (2.75) needles and 2 stitch holders.

Length from top of shoulders, 21/21.5/22 inches, sleeve length 1.5 inches all sizes.

Tension: equivalent to 7 sts and 9 rows / inch in stocking-stitch on No. 10 needles.

Made in pieces from the bottom up. Bottom ribbing and 7 pattern rpts in the darkest colour block, 7 patt rpts in medium colour block, 7 patt rpts and sleeves in white. The lace is a simple yo/decrease pattern over 8 sts and 8 rows.
