There is nothing more basic than simple stripes and a triangular shawl to provide endless high-styled possibilities. And when you combine those winning combos with the third dimension of dynamic shades of brilliant color, well, there is nothing to say but, WINNER! This simple garter stitch shawl takes full advantage of the magic of the extra long and subtle dramatic color ways of Kauni’s Effekt Yarn. Enjoy this simple knit and more importantly enjoy creating interesting ways to wear it.

This shawl is made by working with TWO different balls of yarn, one at a time working from both ends of that ball at the same time for the specific number of rows and carrying the alternating yarn up the selvedge edge, locking it into place every other row by simply wrapping the working yarn around the non-working yarn.
