Shaded is a top-down triangular shawl based on the classic Faroese shape.

Sections of Stockinette stitch and purl ridges offset the center lace panel, and a band of eyelet finishes the garter stitch edging.

Worked in fingering weight yarn, the shawl takes approximately 400 yards (one skein!) and measures, after blocking, approximately 48” at the wingspan and approximately 20” along the back length.

The pattern includes both written and charted instructions for the lace panel.
