Shading
Gradations from dark to light to dark again are created by working with two strands of yarn. Starting off with two strands of the same color, then holding one strand of that color along with a strand of the next lighter or darker color makes the transition from shade to shade. This shaded scarf uses 5 colors. I like using tweed or heathered yarns to achieve subtle blending.
