Shale is worked in the round from the bottom up to the armholes, then front and back are divided and worked separately. A garter rib hem and yoke frame a textured body pattern of broken ripples. The neckline is shaped with gentle short rows. Sleeves are picked up from the armholes and worked in the round to the cuffs.
