The Shale Shrug is like wearing a warm hug! It has 3/4 length sleeves, that you can change if you prefer them to be shorter or longer.

The pattern comes in 3 sizes: S/M, L/XL and 2XL/3XL. You can easily customize the width by adjusting the foundation chain (starting chain) with instructions found in the Notes section of the pattern. Each additional set of chains adds 3 inches.

You can also adjust the length of the shrug if you prefer it to be shorter. Those instructions are also in the Notes section of the pattern. A stitch chart is also included for those who like to use charts.

This is an intermediate level pattern although the only stitches you need to know are chains and double crochets. This pattern is not form fitting or true to size; it is meant to be chunky and oversized.

You will also need size 6 super bulky yarn and a 9.00 mm crochet hook. Photos are provided on a 2nd PDF of each row of stitches so you will have a visual for your work. They were provided separately so that you have the option to print or not.

This pattern is written in standard American crochet terms.
