This beautiful shamrock beanie has stripes with shamrocks in two colours all around. At the top the stripes meet, giving it an umbrella/merry-go-round- like crown.

The pattern can easily be adapted to other sizes by omitting or adding an extra repeat of the pattern.

Wool used: 4-ply sock yarn Buttinette söckli in off-white
and 4-ply sock yarn Merino Meilenweit in dark green.

I was inspired by the pattern from a boy’s Greuther Fürth hat on the bus ride to work.

Enjoy and happy knitting!
