This fingering weight and beaded shawl is created two very unique stitches. I think you’ll find it fun to make and to wear. The beads add just enough additional interest as to not over whelm the look of the shawl.

There are several tips on knitting with beads contained within the pattern.

Skill Level: Intermediate - Intermediate + (assuming some lace knitting experience)

The pattern is both charted and written out line by line.

The shawl was expertly test knitted by: Teddi Sherrill who can be reached at tms808@ gmail.com, and was knit using Mrs. Crosby’s Hat Box in Greystone. (This yarn has been discontinued, however, almost any heavy fingering weight, or sport weight yarn will work for this pattern.

There are also instructions contained within the pattern for an optional crocheted edging, which is the only crochet in the pattern.
