This comfy cowl has wonderful texture and a pattern of repeating triangles that resemble shark fins or sails. You will need about 150 yards of worsted weight yarn to make it.

The gray cowl was knit from one skein of Blue Sky Alpacas Worsted Cotton yarn in the color Sleet.

Ravelry user Racheleilei made the pink cowl and used one skein of Ella Rae Classic Superwash in colorway 123.

The cowl is knit flat and will need to be sewn up with a tapestry needle in the final step using the Mattress technique. This technique is explained with diagrams in the pattern.
