This is a scarf was designed for a friend who loves cables and seed stitch (and the color blue). The result combines a center twisted cable flanked by twisted stitches and braids with a seed stitch border. My original idea had the cables as multiples of 2 stitches, but I beefed them up to multiples of three after a test swatch was done. Now they really stand out. The cable patterns have been charted. The cables repeat every 16 rows and are fairly easy to memorize.

One skein (478 yds.) of Cascade Eco+ knit a scarf 49 1/2 “ long. If you want a longer scarf, plan to purchase additional yarn. This project would look great in a aran or heavy wt. worsted yarn.
