This is a multi skill pattern.
Each piece is knitted on the knitting machine and then sewn together using a sewing machine.

When knitting this pattern there are a lot of small steps, mostly increases and decreases. If these steps are followed correctly, then each piece of the garment will pin and sew together perfectly. When sewing together knitted pieces you should always use a walking foot because a normal sewing foot will stretch and distort the material.

The cardigan was knitted on my Brother KH-881 without a ribber, using 3 strands of Yeoman 2/30 high bulk, using roughly 2 cones.
