The colorful and sensuous dance rhythms of Tango Nuevo inspired this beautiful lace shawl.

Shawl “Tango Nuevo” has a triangular construction. The shawl begins at the bottom, at the base of the center point, and increases to the full width.

The advantage of this design is that you can make the shawl any size you like: just stop adding rows when you feel your shawl is big enough.
This design is easy to use as a foundation for your own ideas. You can use lace, fingering or cobweb weight yarn to knit your shawl.

The sample on the top picture was knit with 600 m - 656 yards (2 skeins x 30 g ) of lace weight ICE mohair & silk and needle size 2.75 mm (US 2).
Suggested needle size for this yarn: 2.75 mm (US 2) - 3.5 mm (US 4). Finished measurements: 170 x 95 cm 67 x 37 inches, relaxed after blocking.

The pattern is charted, with just a few set-up rows and sequence of the pattern being written out; bead placement maps; knitting instructions and Youtube video for the less common stitches are included.

Шаль «Танго нуэво» имеет треугольную конструкцию. Шаль начинается у основания треугольника - центральной точки и увеличивается до полной ширины шали.

Преимущество этого дизайна в том, что вы можете вязать шаль любого размера, который вам нравится: просто прекратите добавлять ряды, когда почувствуете, что достаточно.

Этот дизайн можно легко использовать как базовую модель для воплощения ваших собственных идей. Вы можете использовать “lace”, “fingering” или “cobweb weight” пряжу для вязания вашей шали.
