A chic little hat with sideways-cabled brim, and sleek reverse stockinette crown. Dropped stitches between cables make the brim extra soft and stretchy. Part of the Very Chic Series.

Techniques Used: provisional CO, knit/purl, cables, dropped stitches, picking up stitches, knitting in the round, decreasing, grafting or optional three-needle bind off.

Experience Level: Intermediate. Photo tutorial included for grafting cables; cabled brim instructions are both charted and written.

Size: S/M (M/L); 20 (22.5)” brim circumference, to fit 20-21.5 (22-23.5)” head.

Other Materials:
US 8 16” circular needle/DPNs or 32” circular needle if using Magic Loop, or size to match gauge.
Waste yarn for provisional CO.
Stitch markers (2).
Cable needle.
Yarn needle.
4 non-slippery US 8 dpns, preferably two different colors, for grafting.
