This afghan features a fuzzy lamb motif that is sure to have your little one counting sheep to fall asleep. Stitched with a chunky yarn, this soft afghan will keep your tot cozy and warm.

Skill Level: Rated EXPERIENCED
(but only uses Knit and Purl stitches, so maybe that’s because of the color changes?)

Description of Design and Construction:
Afghan has a seed-stitch border, and a center panel of ripples that resemble waves of grass in a field. The sheep are knit as the afghan progresses, with black feet and heads, and fuzzy white bodies.

Materials Needed:

  • Color A: Bulky Green, 900 yds
  • Color B: Bulky Black, 13 yds
  • Color C: Super-Bulky white, 24 yds
  • 29” Circular knitting needle, size US10
  • 6 yarn bobbins
