This pattern is for a pony tail beanie (also known as a messy bun beanie or messy bun hat). This means that there is a hole in the very top of the hat once completed for your high pony tail or messy bun to stick out through.

This hat involves a shell stitch, which is broken down throughout the entire pattern.

Gauge: 11 dc x 6 rows = 3 x 3 square

Other yarns could easily be used for this pattern as well, although I would suggest staying on the thinner side of a 4 weight. (Make sure to check your gauge)

I hope you enjoy, this is my first pattern!

I would appreciate any feedback as I may eventually publish more patterns for purchase! Thank you!
