Reminiscent of the lapping ocean waves flowing over the velvety sand, Shells by the Seashore, with its lace panels contrasted against a reverse stockinette background, is a top down sock with a heel flap construction that maintains the back leg lace pattern until the turn of the heel. The top of the foot continues with the lace panels while the sole is worked in stockinette stitch until the stockinette toe finish.
